Back on January 30th we mentioned the Hazard 4 brand again along with an image showing off the features that make their products what they are. We also mentioned that we’re working on stocking some of their newest gear and it has been trickling in. What you may notice, is that on some of their longer standing products, new colors/patterns are available.

Hazard 4 Defense Courier Messenger Bag A-TACS

The Hazard 4 Defense Courier Messenger Bag has been a staple of the line, originally available in their standard black and coyote colors. A true messenger in concept, it stays very flat when carrying loads like a laptop, but its ingenious construction allows it to square-out to accept a huge load-out.

As you can see, they now offer it in the latest and greatest A-TACS camo. Now as messenger bags go, we expect to see them day to day and in and out of the office. The A-TACS pattern is rather interesting and having seen this particular bag in person, it gives the bag a rather subtle look.

People not in the know might just think you’ve been carrying it far too long and have neglected to clean the thing, perhaps that will help keep their hands off of it. The only real hints of a tactical nature are the heavy duty straps, buckles and MOLLE webbing. You can put a cute patch or two on the front loop panel to further distract prying eyes.

If you couldn’t give a flying flip about being subtle then we suggest the tactically beautiful Multicam version of this messenger bag. For the sake of mentioning at least one other feature, the Defense Courier features a heavily padded and nicely quilted laptop sleeve that closes with its  own adjustable strap.

Another cool feature (and smart as well) is the large zipper on the front flap (where the two pulls are dangling opposite the shoulder strap). This zipper allows you access to the interior of the bag without the added step of releasing the front buckles. Brilliant!

One of the newer products we’ll mention quickly is the Hazard 4 Broadside Utility Pouch. They call it medium-sized at 9″ x 5″ and it is MOLLE compatible and provides the capability of expanding the carrying capacity of your current Hazard 4 gear bag. The main compartment closes via zippers and out front is a sleeve that closes with Velcro. MOLLE webbing and loop panel out front allow for further customization options.
