After yesterday’s serious(ly) brief lesson on trauma we thought it might be a good idea to lighten the mood a bit. Everyone needs a good ole morale boost every now and then. It’s difficult not to laugh or at least crack a smile at the mere mention of a product called “Tactical Bacon.” Thanks to the fine folks at CMMG, this crazy dream is actually a reality. Seems it’s been out for some time and we’re happy to have learned about it. As the anonymous quote on the can says, “I firmly believe that bacon has the potential to bring about world peace.”

I’m inclined to agree but this not so wise man may have forgotten about a large demographic of non-pork-eating individuals we’re often getting into fisticuffs with. Perhaps with enough convincing they’ll give in and we can declare “Mission Accomplished!”

Ok, back on topic. Open can, receive bacon. Awesome. Rest assured this stuff is edible and the product info says it has a 10 year shelf life if left undisturbed. Talk about a great gift or feature for your desk at work. The ladies will swoon over it I’m sure.
